Banners are very similiar to the roadside billboards advertisers display to make consumers aware
of their client's products and services. It builds consumer awareness of products available in the
market and may go ahead and buy the same. Using banner advertising on the Internet is very much
the same. You place banners on various websites with complimentary businesses. Surfers get routed to the advertiser's website by clicking the banner which has a hyperlink to your site.

rates of your ads. Google's Adword, for example, lets you measure the number of impressions your
keywords generate and it also lets you measure the number of clicks generated by each impression.

online exposure.
